My name is MJ Mayassi (CLAS ’10); I’m the DCHoos VP & Secretary and Co-Chair of Mr. Jefferson’s Capital Ball, held at The Mayflower Hotel on Friday, September 30.
First, a message from Professor Elzinga.
As you can see, my team and I have pulled out all the stops for this year’s Ball, which will feature all-inclusive:
– Cocktail hour including tastings from Jefferson Reserve Distillery
– Dinner Service
– Keynote from Professor Elzinga on The University Then & Now – What’s Changed and What’s The Same
– Full Open Bar
– Live Band
– Dessert
As we just wrapped up Labor Day Weekend and the end of summer, we wanted to offer UVA Young & Recent Alumni (Class of 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016), especially those just starting their first job post-grad, special pricing on this year’s Capital Ball:
Tickets will be reduced to just $100 from now until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13th.
