Mr. Jefferson’s Capital Ball is this September 30th at the Mayflower Hotel! We are thrilled to announce that beloved UVA Economics Professor Ken Elzinga will join us for this year’s ball. Get your tuxes and gowns ready!

Mr. Jefferson’s Capital Ball is the major fundraising event for the UVA Club of Washington DC’s Scholarship Fund, which provides assistance to student leaders who demonstrate commitment to scholarship and citizenship. The Capital Ball raises funds for local University of Virginia scholarships, while celebrating the UVA community in Washington, DC.

6:15-7 p.m. Private Social with Ken Elzinga
7-8 p.m. Cocktail Reception in the East Room
8-9 p.m. Dinner & Keynote by Ken Elzinga in the Grand Ballroom
9-11:30 p.m. Dessert & Dancing in the Grand Ballroom

The reception for the Capital Ball begins in the East Room at 7 p.m. Dinner and the formal program are held in the lovely Grand Ballroom. Following the program and a toast to the University, Capital Ball guests are invited for dancing and desserts.
