Military Bowl: Cavalier Countdown Tailgate

Join Cavalier fans and enjoy a tasty BBQ menu and beverages, and lots of fun. The UVA tailigate is part of the Military Bowl’s Tailgate festivities with music, face-painting, a photo booth, food and drink vendors and more. Fans should plan to arrive to the Military Bowl tailgate early to avoid parade traffic and road closures.
The main Military Bowl tailgate opens at 9am – buy some coffee or hot chocolate and mingle with fans before going to watch the parade at 9:30am. Fans can then come back to our UVA tent at 10:30am.

The pre-game tailgate costs $30 per adult, $10 for children 12 and under (age 3 and under are free). A cash bar will be available. The event is co-sponsored by the University’s Office of Engagement and the Virginia Athletics Foundation.
