All UVA alumni, parents, and friends are invited to join the UVA Club of Washington, DC for a Cavs Care on Saturday, April 25th at 10:30 a.m. to support both Sunday Suppers and Martha’s Table, two non-profit organizations that serve communities in need in DC. Children as young as 8 can get involved in making healthy ham & cheese sandwiches that will be distributed the next day by KIPP DC students at the weekly Sunday Supper. Additional sandwiches will be given to Martha’s Table for their programs, including the mobile food truck that serves hundreds of homeless and hungry neighbors. Help us meet our goal to make as many sandwiches we can in 2 hours by volunteering your time and money for supplies!

We are co-hosting this event with the Harvard Club of Washington, DC and the KIPP DC College Prep High School, so it’s also an opportunity to meet high school students and encourage them to become future Hoos!

The registration fee of $10/adult will be used to purchase the sandwich supplies (kids under 18 are free).
