Michael C. Greene | College ’00
Matmatic Couture
A proud Arts & Sciences alumnus, Michael C. Greene (College ’00) has built a multifaceted career shaped by discipline, creativity, and a deep commitment to innovation. After walking on to the UVA football team, Michael carried that same drive into more than two decades of work at the intersection of law, technology, and organizational transformation. His career spans high-profile roles with the NFL Players Association, top law firms in New York and Washington, D.C., and global companies including Volkswagen Group of America and Hyundai Motor Group’s Advanced Air Mobility subsidiary, Supernal. Across each role, he has led major initiatives in litigation management, legal operations, and eDiscovery. Outside the legal sphere, Michael has embraced entrepreneurship and creative design, all while raising his daughter, Ava Marie, coaching her flag football team, and recently earning certification as a mediator through the National Association of Certified Mediators.
Michael is the founder of Matmatic Couture, a boutique décor brand dedicated to elevating ordinary picture frame mats into handcrafted pieces of quiet luxury. Rooted in the precision he honed throughout his legal career and inspired by the gift-wrapping artistry taught by his mother, Matmatic Couture blends texture, craftsmanship, and intentional design to bring color and personality back into framing. What began in October 2024 as a personal creative experiment quickly grew into a thriving Etsy shop, now with more than 150 sales, international customers, and a perfect 5-Star rating. Greene has earned Etsy’s Top Seller honor every month since April 2025, all while crafting each mat by hand from his home studio in Springfield, VA.
Today, Matmatic Couture is gaining visibility at regional craft shows and continues to attract customers drawn to its blend of elegance and accessibility. With select pieces also available on Poshmark and a standalone website launching soon, the brand remains focused on one mission: to bring beauty, meaning, and modern sophistication to every frame—one handcrafted mat at a time.

Meagan Myers Kosuri | McIntire ’14
THREADBURY
While Meagan (Myers) Kosuri (McIntire ’14), always had an interest in fashion, she never expected to channel it into building her own business. What started as a weekend hobby has grown into THREADBURY, a made-to-measure suiting company built on the belief that custom clothing should be both approachable and enjoyable. While at UVA, Meagan co-founded the Futures in Fashion Association and first discovered the concept of bespoke clothing on a McIntire trip to China. She immediately saw the appeal as someone with non-standard sizing, and while she went on to gain industry experience doing marketing for retail brands, it wasn’t until years later, with encouragement from her husband, that she became inspired to set up her own shop.
A proud moment for Meagan came at her own wedding last December, where her husband, groomsmen, and their fathers all wore Threadbury suits.
Threadbury started small in 2023 and slowly spread beyond friends and family by word of mouth. Today, it outfits clients in custom suiting, dress and casual shirts, and chinos, helping them choose every detail—from fabrics and linings to monogramming and cuffs—before each piece is crafted to their unique measurements (22 in total, to be exact). A proud moment for Meagan came at her own wedding last December, where her husband, groomsmen, and their fathers all wore Threadbury suits. That experience sparked her newest focus: creating group made-to-measure packages for weddings, corporate groups and celebrations.
