The UVA Club of Washington, DC Scholarship Fund

This scholarship was established in 2014 by the UVA Club of Washington, DC, to provide assistance to student leaders from the D.C. Metropolitan area who possess strong qualities of scholarship and citizenship.

The UVA Club of Washington, DC is committed to providing incoming first-year students with an opportunity to complete an undergraduate college education at the University of Virginia in any discipline area of interest. Funded by area alumni in the DC region, the UVA Club of Washington, DC remains committed to programming and fundraising in the DC Metropolitan area to realize its goal of engaging local alumni.

The annual scholarship will be awarded to an incoming first-year student from the DC Metropolitan area with preference towards high scholastic achievement.

Join Washington, DC’s most prominent University of Virginia alumni to support local UVA scholarships and celebrate University traditions. Each year, the UVA Club of Washington, DC Scholarship fund will award two merit-based scholarships to incoming students from our region.

The scholarships will recognize students who embody the qualities that Mr. Jefferson championed: leadership and scholarship.
