All alumni, parents, and friends are invited to join the effort to fight senior poverty in Washington, DC!

As part of the Meal Pack Challenge, you can help the AARP Foundation pack a million meals to make a difference in the lives of seniors in our community. AARP Foundation works to end senior poverty by helping vulnerable older adults build economic opportunity and social connectedness. For more info, visit www.mealpackchallenge.org.

Location: National Mall – 12th Street Gravel Walkways, 12th Street and Jefferson Drive (one block from Smithsonian Station – Blue/Orange/Silver Lines)

Metrorail/Metrobus: The meal pack is steps from the Smithsonian Metro stop on the blue, orange and silver lines. Use the “12th St. at Jefferson Dr. SW (The Mall)” exit. Visit the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority website for more information. The D.C. Circulator National Mall Route also provides easy access around the National Mall and convenient connections to other Circulator buses for visits to uptown sites.

Public Parking: Street parking is extremely limited along the National Mall. Public Parking facilities convenient to the meal pack are located at L’Enfant Plaza, L’Enfant Promenade, SW 20024 (follow parking signs) and 600 Maryland Ave., SW 20024. Prices vary.
