Come join the UVA Club of DC and the UVA Club of Baltimore on Wednesday, November 28th at 7:15 PM to cheer on the Virginia Men’s Basketball team for the 2018 ACC-Big Ten Challenge game as they face off against the Maryland Terrapins for the first time since 2014. The history of this matchup runs deep, 182 previous meetings to be exact, and is sure to be quite an exciting game. In the Tony Bennett era, UVA is 8-5 against Maryland and 4-3 on the road.
Our UVA Cavaliers are ranked #5 in the AP Top 25 Preseason Poll for the 2018-2019 season, the highest preseason AP ranking since the Ralph Sampson era in 1982! The UVA Clubs of DC and Baltimore have two reserved sections of seats at two different price points, $30 and $45. With your ticket purchase through the link provided, you will have the incredible opportunity to recreate the electric atmosphere at JPJ but in College Park instead by sitting together with your fellow Hoos!
The Xfinity Center in College Park has very limited surrounding parking and if you are hoping to park on campus, you must purchase a parking pass online. There is also the option to park in Lot 1 for free and walk to the XFINITY Center or take the Quickbus. The closest metro stop is the College Park- U of MD stop and is about a 12-minute drive/40-minute walk to the Xfinity center. There is also the option to use ride sharing apps to the Xfinity Center as well. Tip-off is at 7:15 so make sure to leave ample time to arrive at College Park.
