Join the UVA Club of DC for a fun-filled night at Capital One Arena on Friday, November 16th as we watch our beloved Joey Hoops of the Brooklyn Nets as they travel to DC to take on the Washington Wizards!
We have 3 blocks of tickets: Upper level Sideline, Club Level Corner near the Nets bench, and Lower Level Corner seats (the corner closest to the Nets bench). Everyone who purchases a ticket through the UVA Club of Washington D.C. will get a free Washington Wizards t-shirt and will have an exclusive opportunity to watch pregame warm-ups starting at 5:15 p.m. (Tip-off: 7:00pm).
Following the game, there will be a courtside Q&A session with Joe Harris, one of the greatest basketball players to ever play for UVA. Joe finished his four-year career ranked first all-time at Virginia in games played (135), second in 3-point percentage (40.7%) and 3-pointers (263) and 11th in scoring with 1,698 points. He was named All-ACC Second Team his final year by the ACC Coaches and was the 2014 ACC Tournament Most Valuable Player. We can’t wait to hear from Joe about his experience in the NBA post-Charlottesville!
Prior to the game, we will meet as a group at Iron Horse Taproom near the arena for a pregame social, where attendees will pick up their tickets to the game and have access to light refreshments and happy hour specials. We look forward to seeing you there!
Ticket availability is limited and the pregame warm-up + post-game Q&A with Joe is exclusive to those who purchase tickets through the DC Hoos, so don’t wait to reserve your tickets! We can try to accommodate seating requests, but please plan to purchase your tickets together with the group you plan to sit with.
