The Greater Washington Regional Board is a new initiative seeking to connect the largest school of the University of Virginia (the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences) to the tens of thousands of people who live in the Greater Washington area (Northern Virginia, DC, Maryland) – and are University of Virginia alumni and/or parents of current and former UVa students.  We hope to inform the Greater Washington alumni and parents about Arts & Sciences and what is happening at the University, create an Arts & Sciences community in Greater Washington, and give alumni and parents the opportunity to support the University in general and arts & sciences in particular.  Through academic events and initiatives, networking and mentoring, and collaborating with other organizations (like the UVa Club of Washington, DC),  we hope to create a community that will thrive and support the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences and his vision and objectives.
