The UVA Club of DC Book Club and Ben Rubenstein’s Team CancerSlayer are co-sponsoring a Happy Hour to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) and to officially launch Ben’s new book, Secrets of the Cancer-Slaying Superman!

Secrets of the Cancer-Slaying Superman is an illustrated book for young readers and adults who want a quick read based on Ben Rubenstein’s (CLAS ’07) personal experience with bone cancer and leukemia.  Ben will do a reading from the book and will be available to autograph copies.  The publisher, Woodley Books, is offering a special pre-publication discount on the book and will be donating 33% of the sales to the LLS.  Guarapo will be offering some drink specials to our group.
