Lastly, Schools coordinates The Jefferson Book Award Program in the area to recognize outstanding local high school students during their junior year and to prompt these students’ interest in applying to the University.  The award is presented by the Schools Committee to a junior who the local high school considers to best represent the Jeffersonian ideals of scholarship, leadership and citizenship.
